Commuting to Work

Americans are stuck in traffic. Nationwide, commuters spend more time sitting in traffic than they do taking the typical two-week vacation each year. The national average commute time is 203 hours per year with New York City the highest with 319 hours per year or nearly eight workweeks per year traveling back and forth to the office.
